Okay, so in my absence the last few months, I must have missed the memo on this chick. When I was down in Miami a few weeks back, I turned on the radio (which I seldom EVER do) and my ears were bleeding… but when the blood subsided, and I got drunk that night, and the song came on @ Twist (the gayest club on south beach)…. the ethanol in my body couldn’t resist…. and I fell in love with her. When I hear her music, I feel like im 12…. the same kind of feeling that came over me when Britney did that song Boyz…. ooooo happy times. Anyways, I can dig this version of Tik Tok alot more than the original. So check it out!

Charles Hamilton’s last mixtape was the shit, and this one doesn’t disappoint either. What surprises me is that he’s still underground. I mean, Kid Cudi and Drake blew up in the matter of a few months after their mix tapes dropped, but Hamilton doesn’t seem to create the same buzz. Normalcy is what he decided to call it… don’t really get why, but whateversss. I guess Image is everything. lol. His Hello Kitty T’s and Sonic obsession probably confuses the tweens. Nonetheless his latest effort is definitely worth a listen. Check is out kiddos’. (click here to download)

About a year and a half ago when I originally started this blog, one of the first bands I ever posted about was The Knux. So I figured I’d check to see what they were up to for you guys and to my surprise, they have a brand new EP THE FUCK YOU EP (click here) available for download. Im digging this song “FuCK You”, mainly because over the break I was informed by a friend that someone I once considered a brother to me was talking foul behind my back and basically dissing RAT RIOT. So let this be the anthem to all the fuckers who like to go out of their way to hate on a hobby. Ain’t that serious bruh.

COUGH COUGH…. and We’re back. Yes… Its been well over six months since I’ve blogged. haha. I probably have like NO READERS. But who cares yo. I’m back. Not with a vengeance, but nonetheless, you can expect an update. For those who don’t know, a brotha joined the ARMY. Yeah… I know right… from Blogger to soldier, but school doesn’t pay for itself. Sacrafice. But yo I can still be a dope Soldier. YES I said it. Anyways enough about me. So many bands have been making good music since I last wrote up. But I figured I’d start my comeback with something classic. Why not the latest by Don Cannon and The Cool Kids. The Video is dope. I like to see the creative process, kinda shows that. And yo… since I live in Germany now… expect more European bands. A brotha can only keep up so much with the state side. Enjoy the video ya’ll.

The Kid named Cudi is working hard, and I give props where props are due. His latest leak is called Switching Lanes, and I am really loving it. Its a step up from the horrible mixtape he put out a few months back that was total garbage. But in other CUDI news, while visiting his blog I noticed a letter to his fans, (Thanks for the shout-out Kid!) about how he’s fed up with the music industry. (already yo!??!); going on to say that he wants to retire as a solo artist after his album drops this summer :).
Seems he’s had it with the gossip and those who claim he’s changed. Anyone who says money doesn’t change you, is a liar. It does, but thats not a bad thing. One thing I loved about Kid is his will to be different and his anapologetic swag. So dude, keep your head up, and take your success with a grain of salt. You can’t let those who talk, take away from your future. Plus Kanye nor you label are gonna let you just walk away. Your far too talented.
