Jade is DOPE! Point blank period. Not only does she bring something totally unique to the scene, she’s a total sweetheart. I found out about her last summer, when I ran across her myspace page, and she showed love. Not too many artists go out their way to connect with fans and bloggers, especially those who have The Cool Kids, Mickey Factz and most of the New School jockin. Her new EP Its My Heart, Cookie is a superb example of smooth vocals, tied with an edginess thats reminiscent of 80’s funk. It’s eclectic. DOPE is the only way I can describe it. The most shocking part in all this is that she has only 950 myspace friends. So she’s a Brooklyn treasure waiting to be unleashed and the best part about it, is that its FREE, so its recession friendly. Check her out! You will not be disappointed.
