Thunderheist has been absent from the scene for a minute now, but their returning with a dope new video, Nothing 2 Step 2. Im digging it. You should too! I’m digging the new sound too.
I absolutely positively LOVE Steven Lopez. You guys probably remember the posts I did about him last summer, and the art work I posted of Jill Scott. We’ll he recently did a portrait of Ms. Badu (one of my absolute fav’s) and it reminded me how much of a genius he is. I can’t wait to buy a painting and put it in my apartment! Shit is like 800 though.. So I’ll have to put that on hold until the recession ends.

I meant to post this last week, but laziness is a hell of a drug :). My favorite Brit after AMY is Ladyhawke. Dusk til Dawn is my shit! She’s been on tour for some time now, and she’s letting her fans get a glimpse of all the action via Vimeo. I love this chick, and the tour looks wicked. I would love to see her sing Paris is Burning while I smoke a little, sip a little, dance a little haha. Check the video’s after the jump.
So Subteranean put me on to this chick, and I haven’t felt this way since I first heard LadyHawke a year and half ago. Her name is La Roux, and she’s from London (of course, aren’t all the talented) She’s HOT shit. Check the video, while I do some research for you guys :)

So for those who downloaded RAT NOISES Vol. One, you are familiar DJ CLASS’s song Im The Shit. I also featured a Kick Drums remix on the tape as well. It seems Mr. Ye’ just couldn’t help himself and did a fucking major contribution to the song by gracing his presence on the official remix. This is… THE SHIT! :) Download link is after the JUMP.

So about a month ago, I peeped this video on WDIR, but I honestly forgot to post it. hahhaa. I recently heard some new tracks from dude which reminded me to do so, and I’m really feeling his new album DOPE, simply stated, it lives up to its title. The track is produced by Ski and the Apple Juice Kid. Check for dude. He’s gonna be doing big things in ‘09.
